Greeley/Weld Complete Count Campaign: Census 2020
The Greeley/Weld Complete Count Campaign was featured in the Colorado Statewide Internet Portal Authority’s August Newsletter for their Census engagement work.  The Committee attended the Greeley/Evans Schools Community Kickoff event where they connected with more than 350 residents and 74 families to share insights on the upcoming 2020 Census. Through the “Community Mapping Experience” board, residents were able to see how easy it will be to complete the 2020 Census, learn about the impact of the census, ask questions, and see the beautiful diversity in our community.

University of Northern Colorado Gold LEED Certified / Best Projects Winner
The University of Northern Colorado’s Campus Commons has been awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold certification by the U.S. Green Buildings Council. LEED certification provides independent, third-party verification that a building, home, or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in key areas of human and environmental health, including sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor-environmental quality. UNC’s Campus Commons was also a “2019 Best Projects Winner” in the cultural/worship category by ENR Mountain States.
