Economic Development and Urban Revitalization

Greeley is one of the fastest-growing communities in northern Colorado, with a population approaching 115,000. Recently, WalletHub ranked Greeley #1 in the U.S. for Jobs and the Economy, and Forbes listed the Greeley Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) as the #6 fastest-growing job market in the country.

The Economic Development & Urban Revitalization Department (EDUR) is made up of two divisions: Economic Development (ED) and Real Estate Management (REM). The ED division supports businesses locating, growing or expanding in Greeley while Urban Revitalization supports the Greeley Urban Renewal Authority (GURA). The REM division provides real estate-related services to other city departments. The EDUR team provides expert guidance on entrepreneurial initiatives, business development, regulatory requirements, real estate, and economic expansion strategies.
