District 6 High School Artist Exhibition Runs March 3-20
The City of Greeley’s Tointon Gallery celebrates Youth Art Month with the annual student art exhibit.
The exhibit showcases the work of more than 100 high school artists from Weld County School District 6.
The opening reception for “District 6 High School Artists” is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 3, at the Tointon Gallery, 651 10th Ave. Enjoy light refreshments during the reception.
The exhibit runs through March 3-20. It’s free and open to the public during regular Greeley Recreation Center business hours. It’s also open during Union Colony Civic Center performances for ticketholders.
About the Exhibit
The exhibit includes art-making and self-expression through drawing, painting, digital design, photography, mixed media compositions, and sculptural forms.
About the Arts Walk
This exhibit is associated with the seventh annual District 6 & Friends Arts Walk celebrating Youth Art Month. Dozens of venues throughout the city will open their doors from 5-8 p.m. March 3 to display youth art and staged performances from all grade levels and District 6 schools. About the Tointon Gallery
The Tointon Gallery features up to 12 different exhibits annually. It is the only city-run gallery in Greeley.
