The next installments of the History Hour series are on Thursday, April 10, and Thursday, April 24. Both sessions will feature the same presentation, Holocaust 101, by Dr. Joan Clinefelter. Dr. Clinefelter teaches Modern European History at the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Clinefelter will talk about lesser-known parts of the Nazis’ genocide of European Jews. She will also discuss the Nazis’ plans for the future after the war and the role of Auschwitz in those plans. All questions are welcome.

The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission asks residents to nominate people or projects for the Historic Preservation Month Awards. The awards honor individuals, groups, and businesses that have helped to protect and improve Greeley’s historic buildings and sites.

The City of Greeley’s City Council Work Session on April 22 will take place at a different location than usual. On April 22, the work session will be in the Donahue Room at the Greeley Police Department, located at 2875 W 10th Street. Typical work sessions are at City Council Chambers at City Center South.

The Neighborhood Resource Office will accept grant applications for the Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program starting April 1. The program offers two grant options.

Time is running out for Greeley entrepreneurs to apply for the next gBETA accelerator program. This free, seven-week program helps startup businesses grow. It provides expert coaching, business strategy support, and connections to investors. The deadline to apply is March 31.
Greeley's Got It
Greeley's Got It is an initiative created to further the sense of civic pride that Greeley, Colorado residents have for their beloved city. Greeley is many things to many different people; however, what is most interesting about the City of Greeley to any resident or visitor is as unique as that individual itself.
