Greeley Hosts Community Visioning Event with Walkability Expert Jeff Speck

Residents invited to help plan the future of a subarea on the west side of Greeley 

GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley invites residents to a community visioning event for a subarea plan located in western Greeley on Wednesday, July 9 at 6 p.m. at the Aims Welcome Center. The event will feature a talk by Jeff Speck, a nationally recognized planner, walkability expert and author of Walkable City, a widely read book on city planning. 

Greeley is working with Speck Dempsey and Able City to develop this subarea plan and is seeking public input. Subarea plans ensure housing, parks, transportation, and jobs are designed around real community needs. 

Attendees will hear from Jeff Speck and then take part in activities to share their thoughts and ideas with the project team.
