Homeless Solutions Department

The City of Greeley’s Homeless Solutions Department leads the city’s response to homelessness, coordinating with various city departments, including Housing, Community Development, Public Works, and the Greeley fire and police departments. The department works to create effective public policy while participating in local and regional planning to address homelessness.

Externally, the Homeless Solutions Department collaborates with federal, state, and regional agencies, as well as national experts and local organizations. Through partnerships with private, nonprofit, faith-based, and community groups, the department focuses on providing essential services like food, shelter, and housing. By implementing innovative strategies and working with transparency and accountability, the department aims to give individuals experiencing homelessness the tools they need to overcome barriers and build a better future. The department also encourages community members to join in and make an impact on Greeley’s efforts to end homelessness.
